Illustrator

Dana Saxerud has over thirty years' experience as a professional painter, art restorer, commercial artist, and children's book illustrator. Her award winning work has been shown in several local and juried shows throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia and on Capitol Hill.  Dana's clients include art conservation companies, financial institutions, technology companies, private collectors, and Members of Congress.

Her work has also appeared throughout the eastern United States including in The Washington Post and The Baltimore Sun, as well as numerous corporate publications and political campaign literature.  Many of her technical illustrations have been used for congressional study for funding of military and civilian projects.

In 2005, Dana illustrated President Amanda's Whistle-stop Trip , she created the 32 original illustrations and cover art for the children's book.
